The Central Asian Ovcharka (Sredneasiatkaia Ovtcharka) is a dog that occupies itself with the guard and the defence of the cattle in Central Asia. On the contrary during the last forty years, in its place of origin, this breed has been utilized in any situation that requested the presence of a trustworthy and thoughtful guardian.
Turkmenistan, Usbekistan, Tagikistan and Kirghistan certainly are not the only places where this breed is utilized. Central Asia critical conditions, with torrid hot during the day and sharp cold by night, the leak of water and inaccessible places, formed a dog which stands wearinesses and does not require particular needs.
